Exchange House
A complete modernisation and transformation of the shared and vacant spaces at Exchange House in The City of London. The Piercy & Co designed scheme included a new rooftop terrace promoting biodiversity and wellness for the new building users, reimagination of the reception space, new best in class end of journey facilities, upgrades to the MEPH systems, external entrance upgrades and new office accommodation to CAT A. The project was carefully undertaken whilst in occupation.
The project included repurposing existing building materials, including original Pentelikon Marble to the reception which has been transformed to create a new bespoke terrazzo floor, concrete wall paneling, and WC vanity worktops. Additionally, 137 tonnes of materials were upcycled or reused.
The reception space is further enhanced with sustainably sourced bespoke furniture and specially commissioned art by Kangan Arora and Nadine Bell, adding warmth and tactility.
