2 Finsbury Avenue

A landmark 37 storey new building occupying a sensitive position on the edge of London’s protected views.  The building’s unique massing has been carefully developed in response to site specific constraints and the facade seeks to create a dynamic response, challenging conventional City architecture.  A key focus from the outset has been sustainability and the building has been designed to the highest sustainability standards including Nabers 5*, EPC A and BREEAM Outstanding.

Working with behavioural scientists the interior spaces have been designed with the end users in mind, offering them control over their environment by providing a choice of spaces with unique characteristics suited to different tasks and different moods.  Whilst at British Land, Nick led the project for five years from feasibility through planning to full commitment.  An offplan pre-let to Citadel for c.250k sq ft was secured prior to his departure.
