A major repositioning of a corporate office tower. Developed in 2008, the first generation of leases were coming to an end. Whilst the building has good bones, occupier expectations have shifted since the building was built, so proposals were needed to radically improve first impressions, enlarge the reception, introduce shower and bike parking and introduce amenity.
Making the most of the unused site area, a 3 storey extension offered an opportunity to address all aspects of the brief in one move and in the process elevate the building to compete with the best new build towers but with the embodied carbon footprint of a refurbishment.
